A 5-year-old child died during a dental procedure in a clinic in Plovdiv, the city's police confirmed to BNT.
An investigation has been opened into the case under the supervision of the District Prosecutor's Office.
The two institutions are not providing any more information on the case for now. The child is from a village near Plovdiv. The causes of the fatal outcome are being clarified, and one of the versions is that the child had a reaction to the anesthetic.
At this stage, the police and the prosecutor's office are not providing any information about detainees.
