An option in which Bulgaria holds non-European elections is terrible stupidity and a catastrophe.
Leaving NATO and the EU is a catastrophic event for which, God forbid, our children will pay for decades.
I do not believe that Europe can remain in the positions it occupies now. That Europe must confront America is an absolutely certain fact. And America itself says so – collect money, spend, build an army. This Europe cannot quarrel with Russia, as it has been so far. Europe will have to change the Russian course and a striking sight awaits.“

According to him, the instability in our country is connected with two extreme instabilities in the world - Trump's tariffs and the state of America and the war in Ukraine.
“Two huge events, tsunamis. One is the world with war, the other is without. One is with America flourishing, the other is with America in crisis. Because there is deep uncertainty, all politicians are sitting and watching, not wanting to take preemptive maneuvers and are more passive than normal“, added Raichev.
According to the sociologist, what is coming is not so much a change in the Bulgarian course as a change in the European one.

In my eyes, a geopolitical maneuver by Europe is coming, which will be quite advantageous for Bulgaria“, commented Andrey Raichev.
According to sociologist Genoveva Petrova, the development of the geopolitical situation will affect the government's horizon.
„Both in public and political terms, at the moment the majority of attitudes are in favor of the fact that Bulgaria's chance for a better solution and a better life for us is when we remain united with our European partners.
Neither categorically siding with the US nor with Russia is seen as an option for our perspective“,
commented Petrova.
According to her, the cabinet has a stable position in terms of foreign policy.
„The vote of no confidence was submitted on foreign policy and remained closed within the three parties, which have reservations about the fact that Bulgaria is looking for its place in the major geopolitical issues in the European context. Quite the opposite - no matter how diverse, contradictory and fragile the ruling majority is, on this issue it not only remained united, but also received additional support in the person of the DPS-New Beginning,“ said the sociologist.
