Three people were detained for failing to comply with a police order last night on "Star Belovodski Pat" in the capital's "Boyana" district, the Ministry of Internal Affairs announced.
On Saturday afternoon, the youth MRF announced that together with the leadership of the MRF- MRF youth structures gathered in "Boyanski Sarai" for a National Council. Later, the property was surrounded by police, and the owner of the building called on law enforcement agencies to take measures, bTV reported.
At this hour, the party's leadership and supporters are gathering in front of the headquarters. They explained that after they were invited by Ahmed Dogan to hold a meeting yesterday, late in the evening, after the power went out, the police stormed in and they were forcibly evicted from the building.
According to them, police violence was used against them. The party leadership stated that they would demand an explanation from the Ministry of Interior for what happened.
Dogan's supporters explained that they entered the building undisturbed, as it was unlocked.
Later, the police arrived. Dogan's party claims that they called the police because the property was not only open but also ransacked.
In a letter to the media, the owner of the property, businessman Daniel Papazov, wrote:
„Ahmed Dogan and a group of his political supporters broke into the property – private property, overcoming the security of the site“.
He has signaled the law enforcement authorities with a request that the property of the company he represents be protected.
The police specified that they responded to a report of a break-in.
At night, the Youth Organization of the MRF reported on its social media page that the electricity in the building had been cut off and the police were taking people out.
“They were pushing us by force, young women were pushing“, commented Sevim Ali, a deputy from the MRF-DPS.
The party confirmed that Ahmed Dogan left the building alone at 3 a.m.
Today, the leadership and supporters gathered at the party building.
“The political situation - what can we discuss, what was, why, who were there and why the police expelled them“, commented Ramadan Atalay.
“We will decide on the management considering what happened“, said Sevim Ali.
