I was sabotaged in my work. This was stated in "The Day Begins" on BNT by Iliyan Pavlov - Deputy Mayor for Transport of Sofia in resignation. He was the only deputy mayor of "Save Sofia" who yesterday withdrew their confidence from Mayor Vasil Terziev with the argument that the coalition agreement was not being respected.
Pavlov categorically denied that "Save Sofia" washed its hands of its decision to withdraw from the government with Mayor Terziev.
"We are very principled in our work. This can be seen years ago, that we are consistent, that we hold to the same things and principles. I don't think this is some kind of hand-washing. There were certain tasks that the people of Sofia set for us and they simply had to be fulfilled. They are not being fulfilled at the pace that I personally want. The specific things that were scheduled are not being fulfilled either. This is one of the main reasons why we separated," explained Iliyan Pavlov, the resigned deputy mayor for transport of Sofia.
According to him, "Save Sofia" made many compromises so that their promises to the people of Sofia could be fulfilled. However, according to him, as deputy mayor his hands were tied.
„ I participated in the election campaign by writing part of the transport program - the development of public transport, the parking plan, etc. I wrote these things down and then as deputy mayor I had to fulfill them. What could be easier than that?

There were elections, it wasn't the weather, but now that's not a priority, something else is. I have a director who is clearly sabotaging me, who hasn't been fired - the director of traffic and analytics.
BNT: How did he sabotage you?
By failing to fulfill the tasks given by me.
BNT: By whose will did they sabotage you?
I can't say where this sabotage came from. The point is that I felt pulled back, we couldn't develop my potential, and I really wanted to work hard. I wanted to accomplish these things“, said Pavlov.
He stated categorically that he was not worried about his work being checked.
According to him, he worked well with Mayor Terziev until a decision was made.
The municipal councilors of “Save Sofia“ separated into a separate group in the SOS and will be a constructive opposition.
“We will not be shrill or sabotage“, said Pavlov.
