A discussion will be held today dedicated to studying the new subject in schools in our country - "Virtues and Religions". The event will discuss what exactly the discipline should include, BNT reports.
The subject is planned to be studied from the 1st grade, but grades will not be written for it.
The forum will be opened by Education Minister Krasimir Valchev. Over 100 participants are expected to join the public discussion. Among them are - Bulgarian Patriarch Daniil, Chief Mufti Mustafa Hadzhi, MPs, teachers, parents and non-governmental organizations. The amendments to the law on preschool and school education will be proposed for public discussion in May.
