Petkov has been indicted since January 10. We are talking about Petkov's actions related to the arrest of Boyko Borisov, Vladislav Goranov and Sevdalina Arnaudova.
Kiril Petkov faces two charges - for official crimes in his capacity as Prime Minister - for ordering, without such legal grounds, to arrest certain people, ordering police officers, without their authority, to carry out investigative actions, contrary to the law, in the dark of the day, without a court's permission, said the supervising prosecutor Angel Kanev.
All witnesses in the case indicate that the then Interior Minister Boyko Rashkov stood and remained silent systematically, without uttering a word, during the entire meeting, which lasted for hours, which means that he did not take any position, did not violate the law in any way, because he did nothing, Kanev also said.
