In neighboring Greece, the authorities have decided to launch 4 projects worth a total of EUR 2.4 billion in order to cope with the housing crisis. At the beginning of 2025, the project "My Home II" will be launched, which includes the acquisition of housing by 20,000 households. It also launched a new EUR 400 million program of interest-free loans for energy-efficient home improvement of 20,000 housing units.
The Renovate-Rent program is scheduled to be presented again in 2024. This will take place in November and includes an increase in subsidies to 60% and a maximum limit on subsidized costs of EUR 13,330. Also, by the end of the year, the first international tender under the “Social Compensation” program will be held.
The program “Renovate my home“ includes the provision of interest-free loans with a total value of EUR 400 million. The special thing about it is that there are no restrictions regarding income, age and disposable property.
The relaunch of the "Renovate-rent" program is scheduled for November this year. This time the conditions will be more favorable for the applicants as the subsidy will increase to 60%, reaching 8000 EUR for repairs. Thus, the repair of the owner can reach up to 13,330 EUR.
