The Office for Financial Sanctions of the United Kingdom (OFSI) imposed fined London-based Integral Concierge Services £15,000 ($20,000) for breaching the anti-Russian sanctions regime, the UK Treasury said in a statement.
It is noted that the company provided property management services to a sanctioned person whose assets are subject to freezing in the UK. The Treasury stressed that Integral Concierge Services “made or received 26 payments” in 2022-2023, despite the fact that it “knew or had reasonable grounds to suspect that the services had breached financial sanctions”. The department added that the company does not contest the fine and has paid it in full.
British authorities did not say which person was involved. Overall, after Russia launched a special military operation in Ukraine, London expanded the list of anti-Russian sanctions by more than 1,000 items.
