The organization of the work on implementing the new specialized information system for cadastral and specialized data of the Agency for Geodesy, Cartography and cadastre was discussed at the annual working meeting of the AGCC. For the creation and implementation of the system in the last nearly 3 years, the agency has been working together with the system integrator “Information Service” AD. The two institutions are partners in the implementation of the project “Development of the specialized information systems for spatial data of the AGCC”, explained the Ministry of the Ministry of Education and Culture.
In front of the AGKK experts, the Minister of Regional Development and Public Works, Eng. Violeta Koritarova, noted that over the years, the agency has always strived to be one of the leading state administrations in the field of e-governance by maintaining high standards in its work. That is why the optimization and improvement of administrative services are planned during the development of the new system, which will lead to shortening of deadlines and offer faster cadastre services for citizens and legal entities. After the change of the regulatory framework, a large part of the official certification documents such as sketches, samples and certificates will be executed automatically in much shorter terms, will have a special code through which any interested body will be able to check the document online and be recognized as official document, which will make the system even more flexible, added Minister Koritarova.
During the discussions, it became clear that the new system is planned to be implemented by the end of 2024 after successfully passing the necessary tests, training all target groups and informing the public about the new functionalities. For this purpose, it is necessary to make changes in the Law on the Cadastre and Information Register and in some by-laws on its implementation. The changes are being developed by AGKK and will be submitted to the National Assembly as soon as possible.
During the meeting, the application of the regulations regarding administrative customer service was also discussed – over the counter or through electronic services.
