A 37% growth in the sale of luxury housing in Moscow in February this year compared to the same month last year, brokers report. For the same period, the increase in the price of properties in the segment is 22%. There is a decline in the purchase of apartments in the mass price segment.
For the first two months of the current year, transactions worth a total of 240 million USD were realized, which is a growth of 61% compared to the same period in 2024. Sales of business, premium and luxury properties increased by 37% compared to the same month of the previous year. The price of 1 sq m has increased by 22%. A decline is reported in the purchase of luxury homes.
Deals in the business segment in February were concluded at an average price of 6,500 USD/sq m, which is 16% more than the same month in 2024. and 4.8% more than in January.
However, in the most luxurious segment, a decrease in prices was observed in February, respectively, by 35.9% on an annual basis and 19% on a monthly basis, to 22,000 USD/sq m.
