We wake up and go to bed with news of the continuing series of explosions and fires in Elin Pelin, i. on the outskirts of our capital.
Ivo Injev commented on this.
Actually there is no real news - there would be if there was a change for the better. It has become routine to keep track of the fact that the fire is still burning and the explosions are not only not over, but it would be even scarier if the main pyrotechnic warehouse was affected.
Pyrotechnics? Many do not (already) believe. In the absence of evidence to the contrary, rumors of munitions being stored at this facility are spreading like wildfire. If there is any truth in them, the next question is who is the most angry with Bulgaria, has declared it an enemy and has repeatedly stated that Bulgarian aid to Ukraine will lead to consequences for our country?
You guessed it right. This time it's not America, suspected by conspiracy theorists of poisoning us from the sky. But not once have I heard any factor in the state deny the unofficial talk of possible intervention by the hand of those who blew up warehouses with ammunition in the Czech Republic and Bulgaria and poisoned a leading private arms manufacturer in our country, sold through intermediaries of Kiev.
Without any trace, albeit one of many as investigated versions, we can only suspect a Russian connection by analogy.
However, today I was drawn to what Interior Minister Kalin Stoyanov said and confirmed on the ground in front of television cameras by an expert, that not a fire, but an explosion was the root cause of the tragedy in Eli Pelin. This is an explosion in the hands of the experienced specialist, the first declared dead out of a total of four victims to date. And not anywhere, but in his office.
Who “idiot” would experiment with an explosion, even a wedding one, in an office next to funerals with explosive substances”. “Idiot” maybe he can, but not a proven specialist. Unless…
Unless it is about something else, which I am not hinting at, but allowing as a possible direction for reflection along the lines of analogy and interest on the part of a country which, I recall, has declared us an enemy. Remote detonation or detonation of an explosive by some other mechanism is something that any “special agency” he can. As long as she is instructed by the superiors.
It took half a year for the Bulgarian rulers and their subordinates in their offices to agree with the hypothesis that it was from the pro-Iranian group “Hezbollah” are the perpetrators of the attack in Sarafovo on July 18, 2012. Only after the EU unanimously recognized this version as proven, Sofia also accepted this statement as true, which appeared in the first hours after the attack in the USA, Great Britain and Israel.
Yes, the difference is at least in the fact that then it was clear from the first moment that it was an assassination attempt. Now it is only about human error or even about a natural phenomenon, such as ball lightning. But we will wait, where is Brussels? Maybe within a year and a half they will come to a conclusion that we can agree to again.
This is how the Triple Coalition of Stanishev-Saxe-Coburggotsky-Dogan did in August 2008, when it simply joined, without its own comment, the position of Brussels condemning Putin's aggression against Georgia.
As I have already noted, the authority of the militia general with a firefighter education and experience in connection with the terrorist act near Burgas acted as well.
There is no reason to rule out the possibility that something similar will happen with regards to the “incident” near Sofia, which may not be nuclear, but it resembles in some of its parameters the Chernobyl disaster and the subsequent shenanigans of the Soviet authorities in the spring of 1986.
