After the excursion of the state account in Azerbaijan, which was arranged from August 28 to September 3 by CEC chairwoman Kamelia Neikova and CEC spokesperson Rositsa Mateva, a new voyage is being prepared, this time - across the ocean.
From November 3 to 8, five CEC members will reside in the United States of America: two from the GERB quota, two from the ITN quota and one from the BSP quota: Georgi Bakhanov, Yordanka Gancheva, Elka Stoyanova, Gergana Stoyanova and Emil Voinov. They are at the invitation of the American side - on the occasion of the presidential elections - but the expenses are entirely at the expense of the CEC.
This was revealed on "Facebook" Sonia Koltuklieva.
A reference from today shows the following data:
- plane ticket: economy class with checked baggage, 1 suitcase: British Airways - 977 euros, Turkish airways - 790 euros, Lufthansa - 786 euros.
- Hotels in Washington, near the White House and Congress: Hilton - 300-330 dollars; Marriott - $350, there is no decent hotel for less than $250 per night.
Daily tickets to North America are 58 euros.
If we assume an average price for a plane ticket of 800 euros, for a hotel - 300 euros plus 58 euros per day, roughly what we get: 2,950 euros per person - 14,750 euros (29,500 BGN) for the whole delegation.
The business trip begins in the period when the lists of the new deputies elected on October 27 are made - at the beginning of November, the CEC has a lot of work, and 1/3 of the members of the Central Election Commission will be absent.
