The dramas surrounding the election of the Speaker of the Parliament continue after three unsuccessful attempts to elect. But… With the latter, there were and were visible interesting nuances. At the first vote, when the candidacy of Raya Nazaryan (GERB-SDS) was announced, the following results were obtained.

GERB supported her, “Revival“ – 34 against, 1 “abstained”, DPS-NN – 30 against, BSP – 19 “abstained“, APS – 13 against, 6 “abstained”, ITN – 1 “for“, 17 against, MATCH – 12 vs. The interesting thing was with PP-DB. In this vote, 20 of them were against and 17 “abstained“??? This happened at 11.23. Then a re-voting was requested (11:25 a.m.), and in it PP-DB counted with 19 against and 18 "abstentions?" Still in PP-DB, no one has dared to press the “for“ button, but how far we are from that.

After that, Raya Nazaryan (GERB-SDS) and Andrey Tsekov from PP-DB went to the run-off.

Who voted for Raya Nazaryan:
--- 68 “for“ - all from GERB except Boyko Borisov (he was not in the hall)
--- 121 “against“: 21 from PP-DB, all from “Vazrazhdane“, all from DPS-New Beginning, 5 from BSP, all from ITN, all from MECH
--- 50 “abstained“: 16 from PP-DB, 15 from BSP, 19 from APS of Dogan

Who voted for Andrei Tsekov
--- 68 “for“: all from PP-DB, all from APS (Dogan) and all from MECH
--- 86 “against“: 3 from GERB, all from “Vazrazhdane“, all from “DPS - New beginning“, all from ITN
--- 85 “abstained“ - 65 from GERB, 20 from BSP

And again in PP-DB we have “against“ and “abstained” when voting for Raya Nazaryan. Unanimity in the name of fighting corruption is no longer unanimity, because it is obvious and clear that there are people in the PP-DB who are inclined to look towards power in collaboration with Boyko Borisov.

Atanas Atanasov from DSB began to hint at participating in the government, and from “Yes, Bulgaria” they are still hesitating. In general, from “We continue the change“ are against it, but the interesting figure among them may be Asen Vasilev, who, according to unofficial data, has the support of about 25% in the party and may be inclined to be a minister again.

That the situation in the coalition between “We continue the change” and “Democratic Bulgaria” it's not “flowers and roses” half-heartedly admitted Ivaylo Mirchev, who returned as a member of parliament. “Discussions are simmering, but there can be no question of tension,”, answered Mirchev when asked by BNT whether there is tension between PP and DB. It is also understood that Ivan Kostov had a meeting with the leaders of the PP-DB in order to reach a consensus, the ultimate goal of which is to have a cabinet, of course.

However, we hear from Atanas Atanasov from DSB that a coalition with GERB is possible,

if they accept their demands for a new Supreme Judicial Council. One of the goals is to eliminate Borislav Sarafov as a candidate for permanent chief prosecutor.

Certainly, the election for the Speaker of the Parliament shows interesting trends, and the question is how stable is the PP-DB coalition. And will someone not take it upon themselves to “kick the bell” of the other to come to power. If the bell is rung in the PP-DB coalition, it will be the biggest success of Borisov, who has been wanting to separate them for a long time. Divide, Empower, Destroy – we have seen this many times in Borisov's performance. The question is the bell, not the Christmas bell, but the party bell. Who will kick her… And it is clear that at least half of the PP-DB probably want it.
