Many foreigners, many things - Latin, French. We have already explained about "world fame" in the title itself, now let's say a few words about "soirees". According to the dictionaries of foreign words in the Bulgarian language, the French word "soiree" most generally means "home gathering, entertainment, party".

Maybe "it's burning" too much, but as a normal Bulgarian I am “sick with anger“ that once again, quite deliberately, the President of France, Mr. Macron, divided a supposedly united Europe not into two, but into three speeds!

A few days ago, after the normal actions of the USA regarding the war in Ukraine (Mr. Trump's phone call with Mr. Putin and Mr. Vance's speech before the forum in Munich), Mr. Macron summoned the leaders of several European countries and the most important European institutions to some kind of meeting in Paris. It is clear that things did not turn out as he expected, because a day later he called a second meeting, extending invitations to other countries not represented at the first meeting. What these Ad hoc formats are is not clear, but it is cynically clear that these are not official formats of the proclaimed European solidarity.

Mr. Macron, as the head of state of France, has the absolute right to invite to Paris whomever he wants, as long as these meetings do not then imply making decisions about a common and unified policy of the European Union imposed by France.

From a purely human and selfish point of view, it is understandable why Macron does not invite, for example, Mr. Radev to these meetings. He does not invite him because, from the very beginning of the conflict in Ukraine, the president of my country firmly defended the position that the Ukrainian conflict should be resolved only and exclusively through dialogue and diplomacy. Incidentally, this has also turned out to be the approach of the current American administration, which “turned the tables” of the declarative warmongers.

That is why I think that Macron's meetings are nothing more than a soiree at which the belligerent politicians and statesmen of Europe will understand that there is nothing new under the sun and console themselves with the fact that world fame will soon pass for them too.

And finally, we, the “mere mortals“, have nothing left but to loudly shout “The King is dead! Long live the King!“.
