Wars are madness that has taken the lives of ordinary people since Antiquity.

According to experts, since the creation of states about 5,000 years ago, about 14,000 wars have been fought on Earth, during which about 4 billion people were killed, and states have lived in peace for the entire period only about 300 years in peace.

Only those in power profit from wars – financial and industrial oligarchs, statesmen, ruling politicians and others who greedily strive to acquire unlimited power, guaranteeing the accumulation of wealth, goods, resources, etc.

According to the French writer and philosopher Jean-Paul Sartre (1905-1980) “when the rich wage war, the poor die“, an opinion shared by progressive thinkers.

Question: Why are wars madness?

Greed forms aggression in the minds of the richest, which determines their mental state, forming a frantic desire for more power and money at any cost, which develop the instinct of aggression inherent in human nature.

The super-rich are the owners of the means of production, as well as everything else that brings them profit during war, which explains the formula why the rich power is needed “P + V = P+“ that is (Money + Power = multiplication of Money).

Question: What should modern International Law be?

Modern International Law was created as a law to guarantee international peace and security, and an intergovernmental organization – the UN was created in 1945 specifically to prevent wars and armed conflicts.

According to Art. 1, para. 1 of the Charter, the UN is obliged “to maintain international peace and security: to take effective measures to prevent and eliminate threats to peace…“. The Organization's activities proved to be extremely ineffective.

Not only was peace violated, but in practice International Law and the UN, respectively, allowed not one or two, but the outbreak of about 500 wars since its creation in 1945 until now, with the world having lived for only 26 days without war during this period.

Question: What is the attitude towards war in the Republic of Bulgaria?

War enthusiasts in the Republic of Bulgaria are constantly doing everything possible to involve our armed forces in military operations using various means such as: sending military aid, preparing soldiers for sending them abroad, expanded presence of foreign troops in the country, propaganda for “threats“, pressure for the adoption of political decisions against certain countries, etc.

Question: What exactly is the obligation for Bulgaria under Art. 5 of the NATO Charter?

After the Republic of Bulgaria became a member of NATO in 2004, almost no one in Bulgaria, including the ruling parties or their paid vassals (journalists, scientists, sociologists, political scientists, etc.), has ever in their daily comments on TV, radio, mass media and other overt and covert means of propaganda explained exactly the full meaning of Art. 5 of the NATO Charter and what obligation it entails for Bulgaria.

The explanation that was “allegedly“ fully quoted “inaccurate” was that from the text of Art. 5 of the NATO Charter, Bulgaria explicitly has the obligation to assist with armed forces (which is not true, but was successfully instilled in the public)!

It is true that according to the first part of para. 1 of Art. 5, all member states are obliged to provide assistance when one of the member states is the subject of an armed attack, but everyone is silent about the fact that there is also a second part of para. 1 of art. 5, which does not contain mandatory provisions for the sending of armed forces, and they can only be provided optionally, i.e. only at will, NATO members can help with armed forces.

It is deliberately kept silent that according to the second part of para. 1 of art. 5, as a member state Bulgaria is obliged to take only “…such actions as it deems necessary, including the use of armed forces…“.

Such is the deliberate delusion of the Bulgarian people, which provides an opportunity for war-loving people to directly bring Bulgaria into war with impunity and without additional approval. The reference to the automatic obligation to use armed forces, which “is“ Bulgaria's obligation arising from Art. 5.

Question: What must the world become in order for war to become unnecessary?

A universal international treaty must be developed and concluded, according to which a gradual transition should be made to the production of only non-lethal chemical weapons, electrical non-lethal weapons, light, sound, mechanical, traumatic, psychological and other non-lethal weapons, until wars become unnecessary.

The Nobel Prize winner, French writer and pacifist Romain Rolland expressed the opinion that “True peace requires, above all, the removal of the masters of war“, this is the main reason why wars become unnecessary, and there will be no more mass murders, unnecessary economic and infrastructural destruction, etc.

Only the absence of wars - the absence of insane Evil, can bring about the existence of lasting, eternal peace, tranquility and harmony, which is the greatest Good for ordinary people, since only peace can guarantee their right to life and the exercise of all rights and freedoms.
