Vessela Lecheva congratulates the successes of our athletes

The elected chairwoman of the Bulgarian Olympic Committee, Vessela Lecheva, congratulates the successes of the Bulgarian athletes, who have been winning medals for the country in recent days, reports BTA.

„Happy Palm Sunday! With this beautiful holiday, we end an exceptional week for Bulgarian sports“, writes Lecheva in her congratulatory address.
„Stefani and Gabriela Stoevi won their fifth European title in badminton and proved that they are the best on the Old Continent. Gold, silver and bronze for wrestling. Magomed Ramazanov added a European title to his Olympic title. The success is even greater because this is the first title for our freestyle wrestling in 20 years. A silver medal for Semen Novikov in the classical style and a bronze for Bilyana Dudova in the women's, and today two more finals with Bulgarian participation are ahead – Kiril Milov and Abu-Muslim Amaev are going for the gold medal. In artistic gymnastics, a victory for Valentina Georgieva on vault in the World Cup competition. First place for Nikola Tsolov in the Formula 3 start at the “Sahir” track in Bahrain. We are proud that thanks to these athletes the Bulgarian anthem sounds in different parts of the world“, says Lecheva.
