Russian Lada has been identified as the loudest car brand in Germany. The relevant statistics were provided by the Statista agency, whose specialists compiled a rating of cars registered in Germany.
Experts measure the level of noise produced by vehicles. According to the report, which is based on official data from the Federal Highway Administration, the Russian brand took first place with a reading of 73.6 decibels.
The trio of noisiest car brands is completed by Morgan and Lamborghini, with 73.4 and 72.3 decibels respectively. In addition, among the loud car manufacturers are Aston Martin, Lotus, Ferrari, as well as Bentley, Alpine and Ineos.
The cars of all the listed companies have a noise level above 71 decibels. As for the other end of the table, the quietest cars are the Smart. Next in order of least noise are the Nio, Nissan and Mazda brands.
Also on this list are two Chinese brands that impress with good noise levels. These are Lynk & Co and Great Wall Motor. The average noise level generated by cars of the brands from China is 65.1 and 64 decibels respectively.
