The electric car, which will appear in Europe and most likely in our country, is an export version of the BYD Yuan UP model, which in China costs the equivalent of 12,800 euros for the base version. This is a 4.3-meter urban crossover with a high window line, a pronounced plastic body kit and elongated headlights.
The interior of the BYD Atto 2 has an original steering wheel, a virtual instrument panel and a 12.8-inch touch display on the center panel. The European version of the model also features a panoramic roof, electric seats, wireless smartphone charging and 17-inch wheels.
The BYD Atto 2 electric crossover will be sold in Europe with a 174 hp engine and a maximum torque of 290 Nm. Its maximum speed is limited to 160 km/h. The price of the cheap Chinese electric car for Europe is still unclear.
Initially, the new BYD Atto 2 will be offered with a battery capacity of 42.4 kWh: its range is 311 km. In China, there is also a version of the BYD Yuan UP with a larger battery that can travel 401 km without recharging.
