The Chinese automaker Chery has introduced a unique engine designed specifically for SUV-amphibians, demonstrating technological innovations in the off-road vehicle segment. One of the most striking examples is the Jetour Zongheng G900 model - a flagship crossover coupe with a hybrid system with a power of 1,572 hp, combining a high level of technology and versatility.
This model is capable not only of overcoming difficult road conditions, but also of swimming, maintaining performance for up to 40 minutes thanks to the IPX8 protection level. The maximum speed of movement on water is 8.5 km/h, which is provided by an innovative engine developed by Chery specifically for this purpose. The G900 is positioned as a premium SUV aimed at customers looking for luxury and functionality in an unusual format.
In addition to the G900, the company introduced two more models: the Jetour Zongheng G700 and the Zongheng F700 pickup truck. The G700, which serves as the basis for the F700, is a floating off-roader that expands the boundaries of what cars can do on different types of terrain. In turn, the Zongheng F700 pickup truck has an unusual design with a beveled rear window and cameras instead of side mirrors, which gives the model a futuristic look.
These new models demonstrate Chery's ambition to develop premium vehicles that can tackle the most difficult off-road terrains, combining unique technologies with progressive design.
