It will be “very, very, very difficult“ for Ukraine to survive without US military support – both now, while the war continues, and in the future, after its end, News.bg reports.
This was stated by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in an interview with the American television channel NBC within the framework of the Munich Security Conference.
“Of course, in all difficult situations there is a chance. But we will have a small, very small chance of surviving without the support of the United States. I think this is very important, critically important“, emphasized Zelensky.
He added that “he does not want to think“ for a hypothetical situation in which the US stops its aid to Kiev.
The Ukrainian president has already met with US Vice President J.D. Vance in Munich. Both expressed satisfaction with the conversation and announced the continuation of contacts, although Vance had previously advocated the termination of US aid to Kiev.
It is not specified when exactly Zelensky's interview with NBC took place - before or after his meeting with Vance.
