The United States has sent a diplomatic demarche to European capitals asking questions about how they can contribute to ensuring Ukraine's security, Reuters reports, quoted by BTA.
The document includes questions about the possible future deployment of troops in Ukraine after the end of the conflict.
The US State Department has not yet commented on the requests for a response, Reuters reports.
Meanwhile, Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski expressed the opinion that Washington's announced negotiations with Russia to end the war in Ukraine raise the issue of "trust in the US", which will depend on the outcome of the conflict.
"Trust in the US depends on how the war ends, and not only on the administration of President Donald Trump," Sikorski stressed and warned that if Trump wants "a Nobel Peace Prize, the peace must be just".
