“Hamas” is ready to explore approaches for political and administrative arrangements for the Gaza Strip, without necessarily being part of them, in order to eliminate Israel's pretext for resuming the war and to begin a real process of rebuilding the enclave, said the spokesman for the Palestinian radical organization, Hazem Qassem, quoted by the newspaper “Al Ahram” and BTA.
For the TV program “Al Hekaya” on the Egyptian TV “MBC Masr” (MBC Masr), he said that “Hamas” has shown considerable flexibility in this regard during meetings with Egyptian officials.
Qasim's statements come after the sixth exchange of Israeli hostages for Palestinian prisoners in implementation of the ceasefire agreement brokered by Egypt, Qatar and the United States, which came into effect on January 19 this year.
