The French presidency said that British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen will attend the meeting tomorrow to discuss Ukraine, Reuters reported, quoted by BTA.
The French presidency added that other attendees would include the heads of government of Italy, Poland, Spain, the Netherlands and Denmark.
French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot said earlier that President Emmanuel Macron would bring together heads of state and government in Paris to discuss important issues of European security. "We are talking about a working meeting," he said on France Inter radio.
Barrot added that "there is nothing dramatic about this meeting, such contacts happen regularly."
He refused to name the names of the participants in the meeting, saying that "the event is still being prepared."
