Donald Trump: Putin has no problem sending European peacekeepers to Ukraine - 1

US President Donald Trump said that Russian President Vladimir Putin "sees no problem" in sending European troops to Ukraine as a peacekeeping contingent. This was reported by Channel 24, referring to a post by White House correspondent Diana Glebova on the social network X.

According to Donald Trump, Vladimir Putin told him that "there would be no problem" with the presence of European troops in Ukraine after the end of the war.

Previously, Russia had stated that such a step would be "unacceptable". In particular, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that the possible participation of NATO troops "would have consequences for the security of Russia itself".

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer said earlier that Britain was ready to maintain peace in Ukraine with its own troops.

Earlier, Emmanuel Macron also said that France was ready to provide Ukraine with security guarantees and was considering sending troops. The French president stressed that they wanted peace, but not a ceasefire, which would be Ukraine's capitulation.
