Meglena Plugchieva: It is not in Europe's interest to confront the United States - 1

Europe will be forced to readjust to a new wave. Because it is dependent on the United States in the field of security and defense. So Europe does not have much room for action. This was stated by former Deputy Prime Minister and diplomat Meglena Plugchieva on "Denyat ON AIR".
She emphasized the need for European countries to quickly adapt to the new geopolitical reality, referring to changes in American policy under Donald Trump and current problems in Germany, which reflect on the whole of Europe.
Plugchieva believes that the best solution for Europe is to focus on partnership with the leading world powers, instead of entering into confrontation with them.

"It is not in Europe's interest to confront the United States. It should seek partnership with the great powers and thank President Trump for taking the initiative to restore peace to Europe," Plugchieva told Bulgaria ON AIR.
Bulgaria's problems and the future in the EU
Plugchieva also discusses the problems of the European Union, especially with the introduction of the euro. According to her, Bulgaria's European integration should be strategically planned, with a clear vision for economic and social development. She criticizes the lack of official information and a reasoned campaign about the advantages and disadvantages of the Eurozone. According to her, politicians should provide citizens with better information in order to avoid speculation and reluctance to adopt the euro.

Bulgaria is in a complex political and economic situation, with Plugchieva expressing concern about the realization of the ambitions to join the Eurozone. She points out that although the country meets the criteria for public debt, the other members of the eurozone are not at the same level, which creates problems for the unity of the Union. In order to achieve true integration, Plugchieva stressed the need for strategic planning and efforts to stimulate domestic production in Bulgaria.
