The medical bulletin published by the press service of the Holy See reports that: "The clinical conditions of the Holy Father remain critical but stable, BNR reported.

No acute respiratory episodes have occurred and hemodynamic parameters continue to be stable".

A planned computed tomography scan was performed for radiological monitoring of bilateral pneumonia. Doctors still refrain from making a prognosis.

Over the past day, the 88-year-old Pope has been carrying out his usual activities. Among the documents he signed was a message to the participants in the Latin American Congress, which is being held in Lima and is organized jointly with the Papal States on the protection of minors and the use of artificial intelligence. Pope Francis' appeal to all those who use artificial intelligence is strong, in the sense of being responsible.

He reiterated his desire to strengthen the protection of minors from sexual abuse, calling it "a cancer of society that must be eradicated".

Prayers for the Pope's health are taking place not only in "St. Peter's Square" in Rome.
