France and Britain propose a one-month ceasefire in Ukraine "by air, by sea and on energy infrastructure", French President Emmanuel Macron told the "Figaro" newspaper last night, quoted by BTA.
The advantage of such a truce is that "we know how to measure it", although the front line is huge - "equivalent to the distance from Paris to Budapest", Macron said.
Earlier yesterday, before the start of the London summit on Ukraine, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer announced that Paris and London were working on a ceasefire plan to present to the United States, notes Agence France-Presse.
