The Times: Donald Trump gave Putin carte blanche to kill Ukrainians - 1

Russia has been given "carte blanche" by US President Donald Trump to kill Ukrainian civilians. This was stated by the former Ukrainian defense minister Andriy Zagorodnyuk, reports The Times.

According to him, it is "100 percent" certain that the delay in US military aid to Ukraine would lead to more Russian strikes on civilian targets.

""We will probably see a significant increase in strikes. It will be a very simple connection. Every time the Russians hit some civilian target, Trump will say: "Zelensky is guilty because he doesn't want peace". So the Russians are now motivated to kill as many Ukrainians as possible. They essentially have carte blanche from Trump“, he commented.

Stopping US aid to Ukraine

The publication recalls that the Polish Foreign Ministry, referring to the country's border reports, confirmed that the US has already stopped aid to Ukraine. It is noted that the decision was made without discussing it with NATO.

"This is a very important decision and the situation is very serious. This proposal may seem banal, but it has great political significance - it was adopted without any information or consultations, neither with NATO allies, nor with the Ramstein group,", Polish Foreign Ministry spokesman Pawel Wronski said earlier.
