A US delegation, including former New Jersey Supreme Court Justice Andrew Napolitano and former CIA Chief Analyst Larry Johnson, visited the Victory Museum in Moscow. The video was posted on the museum's Telegram channel.
The guests visited the exhibition “The Feat of the People” and the hall “Memory and Sorrow” and the hall “Faces of Victory”.
Napolitano said that visiting the exhibition was “emotional and exhilarating“: “This is a look at history with an emotional component that I have never seen in any museum in the world.“ He acknowledged that the level of sacrifice suffered by the Russian people “remains largely unnoticed in the West” and that American schools, he said, teach that “the Russians helped the Americans defeat the Germans,” not the other way around.
"If we forget the past, we inevitably repeat the mistakes of our predecessors," Johnson said. "That is why remembering the past is so important: it reminds us why we cannot allow another war, why we must strive for peace, living in harmony with other nations, not destroying each other," he noted.
