Russian investigators have filed a final indictment against 46-year-old American citizen Joseph Teter, accused of assaulting a police officer in Moscow after a scandal at the "Radisson" hotel.

The arrested American Teter will be checked for involvement in other crimes in Moscow
The supervisory agency has approved the indictment and sent the materials to the capital's court.

The case of the 46-year-old foreigner has been assigned to Judge Oksana Goryunova. The order of Teter's case will be determined when the judge sets a date for a preliminary hearing, which will be held behind closed doors.

On August 12, 2024 Tater arrived at the Radisson Hotel in the Russian capital, where he "grossly disturbed public order": he began to swear and behave aggressively, getting into a verbal altercation with the staff, who refused to accommodate the foreigner without information about his previous residence in Moscow. According to the investigation, Tater provided this information, but was denied accommodation due to "unsatisfactory background". At the hotel, he was detained by police officers and taken to the police station, where he refused to show identification documents and roughly grabbed the hand of a law enforcement officer.
