12 drones were shot down over the territory of the Voronezh Region, 11 over the territory of the Belgorod Region, 6 over the territory of the Rostov Region, 4 over the territory of the Volgograd Region, 3 over the territories of Bryansk, Kursk and Samara, 7 over the waters of the Black Sea and one over the waters of the Sea of Azov“, the ministry said.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that Ukraine has returned 4,306 people from Russian captivity, confirming the state's commitment to ensure the release of all its compatriots, reported Ukrinform, quoted by BTA.
The head of state made his statement during his speech to the participants in the conference of the Coordination Headquarters for Prisoners of War under the title "Hope, Struggle, Return - Three Years".
"For over three years now - almost the entire duration of this war, our Coordination Headquarters has been in operation - with all services working on the return home of our servicemen who were captured. Over four thousand people have already returned - 4306. And we will return everyone. All my negotiations, every meeting with partners who can help, include the issue of prisoners of war," Zelensky said.
He recalled that on March 19, the last group of Ukrainian prisoners of war was released.
