A limousine believed to be part of Russian President Vladimir Putin's fleet has exploded in Moscow. Footage on social media shows the burning car, billowing dark smoke.
The explosion occurred near the headquarters of the Russian secret services. The vehicle is a black Aurus Senat worth 330,000 euros. However, it is not clear who was using the limousine at the time of the explosion, the Daily Star reports.
There are no reports of injuries so far. Photos show the burning car.
The incident is said to have caused panic in the Kremlin, as fears of attacks are already high. In mid-December, a bomb killed Gen. Igor Kirillov (53) and his aide. The bomb was hidden in an electric scooter, and Ukraine claimed responsibility for the attack on the high-ranking Russian military official.
