The US has informed its G7 allies that it will not accept a G7 resolution condemning the Russian strike in Sumy, Bloomberg reported, citing sources.
According to the agency, the administration of President Donald Trump has told the group that it will not sign the statement because it is "working to preserve space for negotiations" with Russia.
Canada, which holds the G7 presidency this year, has indicated that it is impossible to adopt the statement without the US.
