Ukraine's Foreign Ministry said it had summoned China's ambassador and informed him of "serious concern" in connection with China's participation on the side of Russia in the more than three-year-long war in which Kiev is facing Moscow, Reuters reported, quoted by BTA.
The ministry reported that Deputy Foreign Minister Yevgeny Perebinis had expressed "serious concern about the facts related to the participation of Chinese citizens in military operations against Ukraine on the side of the aggressor state, as well as the participation of Chinese companies in the production of military goods in Russia".
For the second consecutive night, Odessa was attacked with drones, explosions echoed in the city, the city's mayor Gennady Trukhanov announced on the Telegram application.
Over 20 drones are massively attacking the Ukrainian Black Sea city from the Black Sea, local channels on the Telegram application report.

A new underground school designed to accommodate up to 1,000 students has been opened in the Shevchenkivskyi district of Kharkiv, Ukrinform reported, citing the city's mayor, Igor Terekhov.
"This school is designed for nearly 1,000 students. To date, 808 children have already been enrolled. I want to say that the demand is huge - every day parents call and come who want to enroll their children. It was very important for us to open this school in the city center," the mayor said.
The construction cost the city budget about 107 million hryvnias. The Kharkiv Information Technology Cluster provided equipment for the computer science classroom and multimedia boards.
Classes have already started and are held in two shifts.
"This is the fourth underground school in the city, and each of them is unique, with its own design, tailored to the needs of the specific area in which it is located. All four schools are different, but they have one key feature in common: they fully comply with modern safety standards and are built in accordance with the latest state building codes of 2023“, said Olya Demenko, head of the city's education department.
According to her, with the opening of this school in the Shevchenkivskyi district, nearly 9,000 children in Kharkiv have already been enrolled in mixed (online and in-person) forms of education.
