The US is concerned about the North Korean military's involvement in the Ukraine crisis, said US State Department press secretary Tammy Bruce at a briefing.
When asked to comment on the involvement of the North Korean military in the Ukraine crisis, she said that Pyongyang "is not helping" to resolve the Ukrainian crisis. According to her, "third parties", including the DPRK, "are helping to perpetuate the conflict between Russia and Ukraine and are responsible for it."
According to Bruce, Washington "remains concerned about the direct involvement" of the DPRK military in the Ukrainian crisis.
She stated that “their transfer to Russian territory, as well as any support that Russia provides to the DPRK as a retaliatory measure, must stop“.
The US State Department has approved the delivery of 400 AIM-120D air-to-air missiles to Warsaw for $1.33 billion.
This was announced by the Pentagon's Security Cooperation Agency, which is responsible for the delivery of military equipment and weapons abroad under intergovernmental contracts.
The delivery will also include transport containers for missiles, guidance system kits, software, spare parts and other equipment.
