The Renault 5 has won the 2025 European Car of the Year award, which is interestingly enough the second consecutive year for the Renault Scenic.
Last year's winner was the new Scenic. Renault is the first manufacturer to win consecutive awards since Fiat in 1995 and 1996 with the Punto and Bravo.
Now, the new "five" has received 353 points from a 60-member jury from 23 countries. 25 people from this jury awarded first place to the new Renault 5. The runner-up to the extravagant Renault was the no less interesting Kia EV3, which received a total of 291 points.
In third place is the Citroën C3/e-C3 with 215 points, followed by the Dacia Duster (172), Hyundai Inster (168), Cupra Terramar (165) and Alfa Romeo Junior (136).
