Inflation in Turkey at the end of March increased by 3.16% and amounted to 68.5% on an annual basis compared to 67.07% a month earlier, the country's National Statistical Institute announced.
At the same time, a group of independent economists ENAG estimated inflation in the republic in March at 124.63% on an annual basis. At the end of February, according to its data, annual inflation was 121.98%.
By the end of 2023, inflation in Turkey officially stands at 64.77%. By the end of 2024, the Turkish Central Bank predicts a drop in inflation to 36%.
