The Bulgarian Stock Exchange now has a new segment - EuroBridge. The new opportunity is a kind of “fast track” for companies that want to be traded on the Bulgarian and German markets. Representatives of the Deutsche Börse, the International Securities Depository Clearstream, Baader Bank, a key investment bank in Germany and the first Bulgarian company to be traded on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange Shelly Group shared details of the pre-organization process, the necessary requirements and the trading that every interested company must fulfill in order to expand its business model and attract more investors.
Over 40 Bulgarian companies, public and non-public, took an active part in Investor Day in Sofia. A part of the companies also participated in the second part of the event in more than 65 individual meetings with potential investors, where they presented their business plans, development strategies and answered questions about their business model and growth prospects. In this way, the companies got an opportunity to attract new investments and improve their corporate visibility on the market.
„More and more Bulgarian companies will have the opportunity to seek more capital. The latest EuroBridge dual-listing segment will open doors to global investors for large Bulgarian companies that have been underserved by the Bulgarian market. This is a key moment in the development of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange”, announced the executive director of the BSE, Prof. Dr. Manyu Moravenov.
