Uzbekistan travel agents, a blogger and a camera crew explored the possibilities of tourism in our country. From May 10 and 17, the guests visited a large part of the resorts along our Black Sea coast, as well as key cultural and historical sights in the cities of Sofia and Plovdiv, at the invitation of the Bulgarian Ministry of Tourism.
By conducting the tour along the Bulgarian Black Sea coast, the Uzbek tour agents were able to get to know in more detail the advantages of the tourist products offered in the country, even before the official start of the summer season in our country.
The informational tour included visits to cities and resort complexes: Ravda, St. Vlas, k. k. Sunny Beach, Obzor, Pomorie, Sozopol, Nessebar and Orizare. Another highlight of the program were visits to Plovdiv and Sofia, where the participants were able to familiarize themselves with the possibilities for conducting other types of tourism in the country, besides sea: cultural-historical, mountain, SPA and balneo and others.
The potential for attracting tourists from Uzbekistan is serious. The country has more than 36 million inhabitants, which is one of the main reasons for the Ministry of Tourism to organize and coordinate a familiarization tour along the Bulgarian Black Sea coast with participants from this market. In addition to the ministry's efforts, the development of the Uzbek market will also be supported with the launch of a new charter program for direct flights from Tashkent to Burgas and back. The flights will be operated once a week from 15.06 to 07.09.2024. The sending tour operator will be Asialuxe Travel, whose travel agents participated in the Black Sea tour.
