Production of petrochemical products in Kazakhstan is planned to grow by 75% by the end of 2024 ., and in the next five years several large petrochemical projects worth 14.3 billion USD will be implemented in the republic.

Satkaliev noted that the further development of the petrochemical industry in the republic “is the basis of the economic growth of the country", said the Minister of Energy of Kazakhstan Almasadam Satkaliev.
According to the head of the Ministry of Energy, based on the results of four months of 2024, the volume of production of petrochemical products in the country has doubled compared to 2023, the ministry is taking measures that will ensure an increase in the production of petrochemical products in Kazakhstan by 75% by the same period in 2023.
