The leading European stock exchanges ended today session moderately. Markets are trying to stabilize and mitigate fears of a recession in the US, which caused them to collapse yesterday, reports AFP, quoted by BTA.
The Paris Stock Exchange ended with the main SAC 40 index down 0.27 percent to 7,130.04 points - the lowest level since mid-November.
On the London Stock Exchange, the FTSE 100 added 0.23 percent to 8,026.69 points, and in Frankfurt, the DAX closed almost unchanged - up only 0.09 percent to 17,354.32 points.
