Wall Street's leading indexes opened today's trade with growth. Investors are looking to recoup losses recorded earlier in the week, reported CNBC.
The Dow Jones industrial average rose 285.63 points, or 0.73 percent, to 39,283.29.
The broader Standard & Poor's 500 rose 77.52 points, or 1.48 percent, to 5,317.55.
The high-tech Nasdaq jumped 329.22 points, or 2.01 percent, to 16,696.08. The shares of the technology companies "Nvidia" (Nvidia Corp), "Meta Platforms" (Meta Platforms), and AMD (Advanced Micro Devices - AMD) rose in price by more than 3 percent.
