The price of the "Baikal" aircraft, which is supposed to replace the Soviet "Kukuruznik" An-2, in the first year of expected delivery - 2025, will amount to 455 million rubles, RBC reported, citing a letter from the State Transport Leasing Company (STLC) to potential aircraft operators.
According to RBC, the price of the aircraft is 3.5 times higher than the base price established by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation in October 2019. Then, according to the terms of the tender, the price of " Baikal" was not to exceed 120 million rubles.

The investor of "Baikal", which is supposed to replace the Soviet "corn", is the company "Baikal engineering" (subsidiary of UZGA). "Baikal" will be equipped with a VK-800 inboard engine.
