Global gas demand in the first 9 months of 2024 has increased by 60 billion cubic meters. Mainly at the expense of China, India and Russia, Gazprom chief Alexei Miller said at the International Gas Forum in St. Petersburg.
"In the nine months of 2024, compared to the same period last year, global gas demand increased by 60 billion cubic meters. 80% of this increase of 60 billion was formed by three countries: China, India and Russia”, he said.
„We forecast global gas demand in 2050 at 5.7 trillion cubic meters, and gas will lead that balance at 26% - number one,”, Miller emphasized.
