The unofficial start of the winter season in Bansko is coming next week. It is, of course, about the student festival, which will once again bring thousands of young people to the town under Pirin. Hotels, restaurants, taverns, pubs and discos everywhere are almost fully booked, and there are still places for those who have postponed their choice of where to celebrate until the last minute.
„The interest is huge, the hotel is already fully booked. We are tight for cool dinners with the students. The prices vary depending on the packages - whether there will be a celebratory dinner, whether only overnight or with breakfast. Most are with breakfast only – 100-110 BGN. goes out to a person because they go out to the pub in the evening,” commented Dimitar Enchev, manager of a four-star hotel in Bansko, quoted by Nova TV.
In Bansko, for years, the organization of the student holiday has relied on companies that collectively provide for overnight stays, blankets and everything they need.
„Which is much easier because you communicate with much fewer people. Now, the fact that they still chose Bansko for their holiday suggests that they have good memories, and that they expect to have a good time again. I hope we don't disappoint them," said Zorka Tumbakieva, Secretary of the Tourism Business Union.
The price of covers in taverns is almost the same as last year. “It varies between 40 and 50 BGN, and on Friday we start with 40 BGN, on Saturday it is 45 and right on the student holiday it is 50 BGN. On December 8th, the menu includes a shop salad, a small brandy, the main course, which is a pork neck steak with fries and dessert,” explained Teodor Stoykov, manager of the tavern.
