The Bulgarian banking system is among the most stable thanks to the high expertise of the people who work in it. This was stated by the Vice President Iliana Yotova at the solemn celebration of the banker's professional holiday, organized by the Association of Banks in Bulgaria.
She pointed out that Bulgarian banks are succeeding despite the turbulent times in our country and in the world.
Iotova pointed out that the stability of the banking system is an important condition for the national security of the state.
She congratulated the Bulgarian National Bank for quietly doing its job of preparing the country for eurozone membership.
"The Bulgarian National Bank is the only bank outside the Eurozone that maintains such close cooperation with the European Central Bank," the vice president pointed out.
She congratulated the Bulgarian higher education institutions, which prepare very good personnel for work in the banking sector, who are adequate to the high demands of customers, innovative and in step with the times, competitive in the international banking sector.
