The new MPs are sworn in and will try to elect a president - 1

The newly elected MPs in the 51st National Assembly are gathering today in the Parliament, to take an oath as people's representatives and make an attempt to elect their own president for the first time, BNT reported.

On the background of the official part in the center of the capital, as many as seven protests have been announced.

GERB is expected to nominate Raya Nazaryan for the chairmanship. If we judge from the 50th parliament, when Zhelyazkov was a candidate for prime minister and Nazaryan was the chairman of the National Assembly, a similar scenario is also possible now.

"Borisov used to say that there is no good DPS, right? And also, while GERB ruled, it never ruled in coalition with DPS. The so-called sanitary cordon looks to me like an attempt to escape at all - PP de facto to escape from a conversation at all, because they are obviously helpless to have a constructive conversation in the parliament", said Daniel Mitov, deputy chairman of GERB.

The Coalition Council of PP-DB met until late last night. He had to decide whether the coalition will have its own nomination for the Speaker of the Parliament, but we will find out this morning.

The coalition will propose Atanas Atanasov as the deputy speaker of the Parliament. GERB will try to find a way to a majority for the cabinet through the formulation of common goals - this is what Daniel Mitov said on the air of BNR.

PP-DB appealed to GERB-SDS:

"If you have to choose between Peevski and throwing the country under the bus for another election, break this dependence with Peevski. 35 years after the beginning of the changes in Bulgaria, we cannot talk about whether there are several hundred thousand bought votes in Bulgaria," added Kiril Petkov, co-chairman of "Continuing the Change".

As always "Revival" will also have a nomination for chairman. The name of Petar Petrov, who was already a candidate for this position, is mentioned.

"BSP - United Left" nominated constitutional law expert Nataliya Kiselova as speaker of the parliament.

"A person who is consensual, dialogical, a person who has high public support - he also showed it with the personal number of preferences he won in a very difficult 23rd electoral MIR. We hope that reason will prevail in the newly elected representatives of the people, because the rest means the continuation of this terrifying political crisis", commented Atanas Zafirov, i.f. chairman of the BSP.

" Assoc. Kiselova is a human rights defender, a constitutionalist, a perfect lawyer. I will also insist that the PG of the BSP United Left does not support GERB's proposal for chairman. Because this will be the first indication of the formation of a parliamentary majority", declared Maya Manolova, "BSP - United Left".

And "There is such a people" will have their own candidate. Whether it will be the doyen Silvi Kirilov will become clear today.

For BNT, Toshko Yordanov said that their party will do everything possible to have a government, but not at any cost.

"There should be talks between the parties, drawing up a program, setting deadlines, priorities, from there a conversation about people who implement this program and then the Prime Minister, this is the right approach. To start from the position I want because I have 60 MPs and you need that many more is not a particularly good approach," Toshko Yordanov from ITN also said.

From MECH they will not nominate a candidate because, as the smallest group, they did not think it was right. They will not support the speaker of the parliament from GERB.

"DPS - A New Beginning" and "Alliance for Rights and Freedoms" have not applied for the chairmanship. What will be their behavior - it will become clear today.

DPS Honorary Chairman Ahmed Dogan advised the APS parliamentary group to build a strategy for action and where countermeasures are necessary.

"I don't know how long this parliament will last, but in any case it will depend on the boy's behavior. We must communicate with other PGs - in good faith. Except for the boy, so to speak, of course. The country needs a cabinet. In my opinion, everything possible should be done to return the powers of the president to form an official cabinet", commented Ahmed Dogan.
