Andrey Tsekov is the candidate of “We continue the change – Democratic Bulgaria“ for President of the National Assembly, bTV announced.
Andrei Tsekov was born in the city of Sofia. He graduated from the First English Language High School in the city of Sofia and the Faculty of Law of the University of Sofia “St. Kliment Ohridski”.
Specialized in European Union law at the University of Amsterdam, the Netherlands and management at Stanford. He has 20 years of experience in managing the investment process in large corporate structures. In the period of December 2021 – In August 2022, he held the post of Deputy Minister of Finance.
In the office “Denkov” from June 2023 to April 2024 he was the Minister of Regional Development and Public Works. Andrei Tsekov is married with three children.
