A little after 2 p.m., the meeting between PP-DB and ITN began, Dariknews.bg reports. The meeting was attended by Kiril Petkov, Atanas Atanasov, Acad. Nikolay Denkov, Asen Vasilev, Bozhidar Bojanov, and from ITN - Toshko Yordanov, Nikoleta Kuzmanova, Alexander Rashev.
Toshko Yordanov stated that they will not hold talks with Peevski's formation even without the PP-DB declaration.
"The election of the President of the National Assembly should not take place after the legislative initiatives. Rather, I call for the decision to be taken for the oldest deputy to remain in office until a majority is formed," he said.
Yordanov touched on the topic of the "home book" and in his words it should be replaced. According to ITN, the amendment to the Constitution in this part for caretaker governments does more harm.
Yordanov shared about ITN's idea to change the Law on Referendums. "Our party itself arose because of this, as far as I remember from DB there were statements that direct democracy should be eased. We will also want this law to be included in this legislative program," Yordanov also said.
