Absolutely no political formation has sought our support for the election of chairman of the National Assembly. We will not give it unreservedly. If requested, there should be a fairly serious dialogue. This is what the MP from "DPS-New beginning" said. Kalin Stoyanov on the air of the show "Your day" on NOVA NEWS.
"Our decision remains the same - we will not support anyone for the Speaker of the National Assembly. We will probably meet tomorrow before the meeting and make our final decision. We thought it was not necessary to raise our candidacy, there are plenty of others at the moment. We have positioned ourselves next to our voters - about 300,000 Bulgarian citizens. It is high time for everyone to come to terms with the fact that the new beginning is already among them. We are close to the people, they trusted us, and if there are new early elections, the support for us will be much stronger. I believe that well over 400,000 people will stand behind us," he commented.
Stoyanov expressed his readiness to be included in the lists of Peevski's party again in a new early vote. Regarding the allegations of manipulation of the elections, he pointed out that in several sections it is seen that there are violations, but this should not cast doubt on the entire electoral process and its results. "We have all seen that we are not phantoms. No one has the right to call our voters unreal. "There were 8,000 people at our protest," noted the deputy.
In his words, several people from PP created political tension during the time when he was the interior minister. "Peevski is a man who keeps his word and his people. I know how he makes decisions, and every day I am convinced that I have made the right decision," Stoyanov emphasized.
He is categorical - the employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs should receive higher remuneration, which should reach at least 2,000 BGN.
